Title: Mobile Business Development/Partner Manager – Brazil

Location: São Paulo, SP


Core Responsibilities:

· Perform User analysis; identify regional trends and needs of the core customer base

· Effectively collaborate with business, marketing, product teams to help to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, and drive projects to completion

· Work with marketing teams to identify the greatest opportunities for increasing adoption and use of the mobile web product across multiple channels including Yahoo! and partner websites.

· Ensure critical issues are resolved; garner internal and/or strategic partner support as required

· Manage through multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.

· Manage expectations with strategic partners; assess needs; develop strategies to maximize Yahoo!’s distribution opportunities with carrier partners.

· Develop a solid understanding of Yahoo! core mobile products & services.

· Test, monitor, report and troubleshoot Partner integrations and performance of region’s mobile services

· Work with QA and Operations Team Leads to ensure successful deployment of the products

Job Requirements

· Strong analytical skills

· Fluent English required, Spanish as a plus.

· Excellent analytical and prioritization skills for successfully managing audience performance

· Prior experience in working with carrier partners to ship products used by millions of users on mobile handsets is a plus

· Self-starter, ability to complete tasks with limited or no supervision

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Ability to work across cross-functional organizations

· Strong organizational, leadership, and relationship building skills

* Drive each account in accordance with its plan, with particular regard to:

· Marketing – help to develop joint marketing plans to drive awareness and take-up of services with the partners’ subscribers.

· Product – develop account-specific product roadmaps and ensure that the user experience for the partnership is optimal. Ensure that the partnership has appropriate product and services.

· Engineering – ensuring that the partnership receives sufficient engineering support in order to meet its commercial objectives.

* Act as ‘the voice of the customer’ within the account, feeding back market requirements into the wider Yahoo organization.

· General understanding of core product management and marketing fundamentals with a focus in consumer experience

· Business administration degree

· Ability to perform business analysis,

· Demonstrated skills in managing partnerships, interfacing with working teams

· Experience in working in cross-cultural, multi-national environments interfacing with multiple cross-functional stakeholders (Product management, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Engineering, Finance, etc.)

· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

· Excellent analytical, planning and decision making skills

· Solid understanding of the mobile data services and market trends; familiarity with handset vendor manufacturing a plus

· Business administration degree

· Fluent English required; Spanish is a plus

· Wireless or other related industry background is a plus

· Knowledge or experience in Mobile Web and Data services and consumer products
